Contextware OS is a scalable, Web-native, J2EE-compliant platform designed to capture, organize, distribute and enable operations around business activities and information.

The Java 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition (J2EE) 5.0 is a set of coordinated specifications and practices that together enable solutions for developing, deploying, and managing multi-tier server-centric applications. J2EE is an open industry standard, the result of ongoing industry collaboration. It provides value by significantly reducing the cost and complexity of developing and deploying multi-tier solutions, resulting in services that can be rapidly deployed and easily enhanced.

Operating system, database, application and webserver licenses are not included in the Contextware OS software licensing agreement and must be purchased separately.
