Context Delivery

Activity Navigator allows users to visually drill down into processes.

History Navigator lets users retrace their steps, one activity at a time.

Narrative panel offers detailed narrative of current activity, and immediate subactivities.

Topic panel lists relevant information topics for currently selected activity, sorted by role played within the activity. Each role offers activity count in parentheses. Mouse over topic name gives definition. Icon to left of topic name indicates topic source or path.

Topic Assets are revealed by clicking on topic name. Asset title is link/pointer to resourcers and content, whether document, URL, data or application. With permission, users can edit asset metadata or add new content.

Process Search utilizes natural language semantic expansion to facilitate more efficient searches of single process or all processes by activity name. Queries can be refined and expanded by synonym (like this), troponym (particular ways of) and hypernym (is a kind of).

Email Function allows email to be sent to group members, with local URL embedded along with a text message.

Simple Upload allows files to be uploaded and stored on the server. Configurable MIME types.

User Profile section allows users to update their contact information and change system password.

Context Authoring

Activity Manager tool captures and refines process. Processes can be resequenced and scaled. Groups are given specific permission levels within each process.

Context Manager tool defines the specific role topics play within a specific task and manages topic inheritance/granularity, prompting user at critical decision points.

Text Mode provides simplified user interface for authoring toolset in a style familiar to traditional Knowledge Management practitioners.

Content Management

Topic Manager tool manages topic taxonomy independent of processes.

Asset Manager tool manages system assets referenced by topic.

Simple Upload allows files to be uploaded and stored on the server. Configurable MIME types.
Auditing

Dashboard allows analysis and validation of business activities individually or collectively; by one or all processes; and by date range.

Security

Permissions are set at organization, process, group and user levels.

User Manager creates and manages permissions and contact information for system users.

Group Manager creates and manages groups within the organization, assigns users to groups, and assigns groups to processes. Groups also have unique permissions for each process.

Administration

Organization Manager permits creation of unlimited, separate, secure organizations on one system that have unique topic structures, processes and UI but can also share processes across organizations.

Semantic Management enables system-wide capability to re-label textual components, increasing adoption and usability by aligning with enterprise and organization specific terminology, as well as enabling internationalization.

Process Display allows the system administrator to configure what aspects of the process are exposed to system users, either reducing visual clutter, or conversely, maximizing the full value of process logic.

GUI Manager quickly and easily customizes the application interface to reflect the look and feel of each organization.

Topic role labels can be customized.
