Contextware Celebrates 5th Year as One of the
“100 Companies that Matter in Knowledge Management”
MCLEAN, VA, February 25, 2010 – Contextware, Inc., provider of software solutions that improve organization performance and productivity, today announced that it has been honored for the 5th year in a row as one of the "100 Companies that Matter in Knowledge Management" by KMWorld, the leading industry publication for knowledge management.
KMWorld’s list of 100 Companies is now in its 10th year, and is compiled through discussions with KM practitioners, theorists, analysts, vendors and their customers, and editors. The list recognizes organizations that are fundamentally transforming the way enterprises operate in the knowledge economy. Past and current companies recognized on the list include Apple, BEA, IBM, Metastorm and Oracle among others.
"In today’s knowledge economy, Contextware does more than simply throw sophisticated technology at its customers, it provides real solutions with demonstrable value," says Hugh McKellar KMWorld editor in chief. "Contextware’s inclusion for the fifth year in a row reflects that focus on results.”
Contextware won KMWorld's coveted “Promise Award” in 2006, and has also been recognized as a "Trend-Setting Product" for three previous times.
